At present there are no law existing in Romania which is against the gay citizens of Romania which are popularly known as Gay Romania and the only issue present is about the equality in marriage. But the recent California’s Supreme Court decision has allowed the gar Romania citizens to marry and it is of course great news to the Gay Romania community which is also known as GRC. These gay Romania communities conduct many cultural events and contestant like Miss Travesti take part in these contests and add glow to the same. In the same spirit the Gay Fest 2008 is been conducted and the main idea for holding the festival is to show off the transparency persisting on the gay community in the Romanian country. The week in which the festival is celebrated to show the right to be different from the majority will have the same kind of solidarity with the people who are in the rest of the society. By hosting such festive heights Romania still keep saying that it is still a part of Europe and by conducting such festivals they still keep the solidarity of not only the Gay community of Romania but also pass on the same to the rest of the world.
