Anime Park Nijigen no Mori
Welcome to the Nijigen no Mori Anime Park on Awaji Island, where the world of anime and pop culture comes to life! This one-of-a-kind anime theme park has been a tourist hot spot since it opened in 2017. Going to the park and the gift stores is free, as is the parking, only the attractions themselves have entrance fees.
It is inside the Nijigen no Mori park complex where you can find the Naruto theme park, resembling the Hidden Leaf Village (Konoha). It’s about a 10-minute walk from the main parking lot and park entrance to the iconic gates of Konoha. Once you pass through the gate, you’ll step into the world of Naruto.
The Ultimate Naruto Theme Park – NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato
Naruto Theme Park Overview
NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato brings all the best elements from the manga and anime to life. Enter through the iconic Konoha gates, and from there, stroll down the village street to begin your adventure!
The actual attraction of the Naruto them park consists of two missions: The Heaven Scroll (Ten no Maki) and the Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki). The first part is to conquer a three-dimensional maze, passing through the doors by doing the correct hand seals. Along the way, you must collect stamps for your scroll to complete the mission and move on to the next one.
The second mission is more in the outdoors, where you have to follow the instructions on the Earth Scroll and once again collect the correct clues to finish the mission. This is also where you will need to utilize the hand signs that you would have learned beforehand.
These are the main missions, included in the regular ticket price (3, 300 yen for adults). They are available in English and take about 30 to 40 minutes each to complete. After that you are welcome to roam around in the Naruto theme park and go back to take photos you might have missed in your rush to complete the missions.

How to prepare before visiting?
Whether you’ve purchased your ticket beforehand or will do so on the day, remember to check the weather forecast and to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. All of the Naruto theme park’s missions are outdoors and require some exercise moves (you are a ninja after all!).
For the mission on the Heaven Scroll we recommend you hone your skills of making hand seals, as they are the key to completing the mission more smoothly. If you’re not sure where to start check out our guide on Practicing the art of Hand Seals.
During the summer stay hydrated and bring a water bottle, as Awaji Island’s summer is very hot and humid.
But most of all, come with the excitement of getting to be a ninja for the day and have fun!
